Reactivate an Account

If an account has previously been cancelled and the account status is ‘Cancelled’, than you can re-activate an account.  This will bring the balance back to the balance at the time it was cancelled.

Step 1: Open the debtor that that has the account to Re-activate. Make sure that you are in the Debtors Folder.

Step 2: Click the Operations < Accounts < Reactivate an Account.

Step 3: The 'Reactivate an Account' dialogue box pops up.

Step 4: Click the account that you want to Re-activate (multiple accounts can be done at one time if needed).

Step 5: Select the Status for the account from drop down list.

Step 6: Click ‘OK’ to save.

Step 7:  Account will now reflect the new status and the balance will be restored to the balance at the time it was cancelled.

Step 8: A note will be placed onto the Debtor
