Delete an Account

You must be logged in as a User that has been given permissions to Delete an Account.  This will be assigned in the Security> Define User menu.
To Delete an Account:

Step 1: To open the Account Folder, from the Debtor Folder, double-click on the account you want to delete.

Step 2: Click the 'Delete Account' button. The 'Delete Account' dialogue box pops up.

Step 3: Choose 'Yes'.

Note: if there are payment plans associated with this account you will receive a dialog box.  You must remove all Payment Plans before you can delete an account.

Step 4: You will receive a message letting you know the Account has been successfully deleted.

Step 5: A note displays on the Debtor Notes tab.
