Change the Type of an Account

The 'Change Account Type' option changes a single Account Type for one that is already in the system. This can affect reports, so a warning box will pop up. This is helpful if you have entered information incorrectly.

Step 1: To Change an Account Type, you must be in the Account folder of the account you wish to change.

Step 2: Navigate to Operations < Account < Change Account Type.

Step 3: Now the warning box will pop up:

Step 4: If you are sure you want to continue, click 'Yes'. The Choose Account Type dialogue box will pop up. Choose the new Account Type from the dropdown.

Step 5: Click Change Type.
